From a simple annex to a modern and a multidisciplinary university with remarkable accomplishments. 

The entrances of the city of M’sila are the testimony of ambitious modernization endeavors and structuring projects that have strengthened its qualities. Situated at the side of the Hodna Basin where beautiful nature melts with historical grandeur to create a sweetness of living in this generous region.

Created by Decree No. 89-138 of the 1^st  of August  1989, modified and completed  by  the Executive Decree No. 95-205 of August 5^th  1995, then amended by Executive Decree No. 98-391 of December 2^nd  1998, the University of Belkaïd Abou Bekr Tlemcen results from of a long evolution.
