África.ES llega a Sevilla

África.es focuses on the vision of several African photographers of various urban spaces in Spain that have been selected for this purpose. The project brought seven African artists to Spain, assigning each to a Spanish city so that they could convey their own vision and reflection, without any type of thematic limitations, of what the cities spoke to them through spaces, people, situations, etc.

Seville will display the work of these artists that Casa África has taken to various cities with a great deal of success. This exhibit reaches the streets of the city of Seville, specifically to the area from Calle Fray Ceferino to Plaza del Triunfo, through monoliths that are more than 2 metres tall that will convey the work of these photographers right on the streets, displaying the photographs directly to passers-by.

The África.ES exhibit projects is part of the Arte inVisible programme that has been organised by AECID (Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional al Desarrollo or Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development) in recent years through its Department of Cultural Promotion and Cooperation within the Cultural and Scientific Relations Section.
