LETRAS AFRICANAS

The voices of the contemporary African literature closer to the Spanish public

There is no doubt that literature is one of the essential ways to get closer to the social, political and cultural reality of the African continent. However, Spanish reader's access to this literary production is more limitated for reasons related to its translation and its scarce insertion in the book market of our country.

With this programme, Casa África wants to contribute to solve this lack, facilitating the presence in several Spanish cities of the continent's most outstanding writers, giving special priority to authors published in the Casa África Collection of Literature.
