Cécile Dolisane Ebossé

Specialised in gender studies, she has published several articles about the ambiguous portrait of women in Cameroonian novels.

She is a doctorate and a specialist in Post-colonial African literature, and in gender and women´s studies. She teaches at the University of Yaoundé I, in Cameroon.

Her current areas of research focus on the myths and challenges of women in the Cameroonian coast, as well as on the new contemporary cosmopolitanism. Her works include: Violencia textual y sexual en el trabajo de Calixthe Beyala (Langues et Littératures n°10, février 2006)  and L'image de la femme dans la littérature camerounaise: cas de Mongo Beti, F. Bebey, L. Dooh-Bunya et Werewere Liking.
