Lucius R. Mugisha es profesor de Sociología en la Universidad de Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Investiga la economía política africana, la biopolítica, la juventud y el empleo, la sociología ambiental y la cooperación rural. Ha publicado artículos en The African Review, Tanzania Journal of Sociology y Utafiti, destacando estudios sobre habilidades juveniles, neoliberalismo y el movimiento cooperativo en Tanzania como, From Deskilling to Reskilling: The Role of Technical Skills among the Youth in Kagera Region (2019) o Accumulation Tendencies and the Trajectory of the Cooperative Movement in Tanzania (2022).
Lucius R. Mugisha is a lecturer in Sociology at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. His research focuses on African political economy, biopolitics, youth and employment, environmental sociology, and rural cooperation. He has published articles in The African Review, the Tanzania Journal of Sociology and Utafiti, notably studies on youth skills, neoliberalism and the cooperative movement in Tanzania, such as ‘From Deskilling to Reskilling: The Role of Technical Skills among the Youth in Kagera Region’ (2019) and ‘Accumulation Tendencies and the Trajectory of the Cooperative Movement in Tanzania’ (2022).
