Talleres de danza abiertos. Técnica Acogny

Aïda Colmenero, as part of the activities being carried out in the Senegalese capital by the hand of Casa África and the Embassy of Spain in the country and who have allowed her to participate in the  Duo Solo Danse and present her show Ella poema / She poems, this time will hold two dance workshops open to the public where any interested person can sign up, as it is open to all levels.

Casa África defines this action within its Africa in Motion programme, through which it supports contemporary African dance using different actions such as choreographic residencies of  African dancers and choreographers in Spain to assist in the development of their creations or support the presence of Spanish dancers in Africa.

Aïda Colmenero, actress, model, performer, choreographer, producer and professor with awards from the Ministry of Culture of Spain and the AECID (Spanish Agency for Cooperation and Development).

Aïda is also the only Spanish woman who has earned a diploma in the Acogny Technique created by Germaine Acogny at the Ecole de Sables in Senegal. Only 20 people worldwide have this certificate, as it was the first and last time that Germaine Acogny decided to transmit her art.

Aïda has created the Lanla Project with Ise An Verstegen to expand the Acogny Technique internationally. It is an organization formed by dance professionals qualified in the Acogny Technique offering workshops and dance demonstrations based on it.
