Casa África provides ITC participation (Canary Islands Institute of Technology) in the panel discussion on the management of the water-energy nexus in Spain, which will take place on 15th January 2014 at 6.30 p.m., hosted by the Hydrographic Confederation of the Ebro (CHE) and the World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE).
In this panel discussion Gonzalo Piernavieja Izquierdo, director of the Division of R & D ITC will take part to try and show good practices in water governance and energy, the feasibility of a smart grid where renewable energy is manageable , large water projects for energy storage, isolated production and energy consumption and finally a holistic view of the great potential for development that the water-energy binomial has in an international context.
