After a childhood in France, she spent her adolescent years in Mali, subsequently moving to Uzbekistan in order to continue her studies.

With a degree in Agricultural Engineering, she currently develops Internet services in Bamako.

Her work titled Kouty, mémoire de sang (2002) has not gone unnoticed. This detective novel is structured around the history of her country, and it has become a symbol in itself.
