Through outreach, educational, economic, and cultural activities, we foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic African relations.
This morning, the consul of the Republic of Korea in Spain, Dongil Oh, visited Casa África and met with the organisation’s director general, Luis Padrón López, to see the operation and work of this institution of Spanish public diplomacy first hand. He thus fulfilled his desire to visit the organisation, pending since his appointment in August 2015 and completed on an official visit after meeting with the general director of Casa África during the presentation of the report Doing Business Africa on 1 April.
The Korean consul in Spain toured the headquarters of Casa África and the photographic exhibition Women of the Congo, by Isabel Muñoz and Concha Casajús, accompanied by the general secretary of Casa África, Arianne Hernández, and the head of the department of culture and education, Juan Jaime. During his visit, he also outlined the Korean presence in Africa and what interests his country has on that continent.
