Mali's ambassador to Spain visits Casa África

Mali's ambassador to Spain, Abdoulaye Koumare, visited Casa África this morning and met with its director general, Luis Padrón, to hold a working session. Padrón and Casa África’s head of Economics and Business, Ana Cárdenes, presented the institution’s most important activities for 2017 and discussed possible collaboration between the two agencies regarding activities in which Mali has particular interest.

Ambassador Koumare spoke of the importance of changing stereotypes about his country which is moving into a new era of prosperity and opportunity after a difficult period in its history. Together with other African and European ambassadors accredited in Spain, Abdoulaye Koumare participated yesterday at the International Meeting on Preventive Diplomacy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
