An Arab diplomatic delegation visits Casa África

A delegation of Arab ambassadors and diplomats visited Casa África this morning and met with its director general, Luis Padrón, and its general secretary, Arianne Hernández. The director general and general secretary explained the organisation’s work to the visitors, accompanied them on a tour of its headquarters and made Casa África available to the entire group for joint activities and initiatives.

The delegation included representatives from Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Mauritania, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen, Qatar, Oman, Algeria and Morocco. Naime Bouchema, responsible for Business in the Office of the Arab League, was also part of the delegation. They were accompanied by the deputy minister of external affairs of the Government of the Canary Islands, Pedro Rodríguez Zaragoza.

The delegation was composed of Musa Amer Odeh, ambassador of Palestine; Alaa Al Hashimy, ambassador of Iraq; Ghassan Abdel Rahim Odeh Majali, ambassador of Jordan; Sulaiman Abdallah Alharbi, ambassador of Kuwait; Sidi Ali Ould Sidi Ali, ambassador of Mauritania; Mohamed Abdalla Abdelhameed Ahmed, ambassador of Sudan; Wacef Chiha, ambassador of Tunisia; Abdulsalam Alawi A. Al-Awadhi, charge d’affaires of Yemen; Abdulrazzak Abduljalil A. N Al-Abdulghani, ambassador of Qatar; Kifaya Khamis M. Al Raisi, ambassador of Oman; Taous Feroukhi, ambassador of Algeria; and Mustapha El Yemli, minister of the embassy of Morocco.
