Casa África is hosting the launch of the 360° special «Dakar. Capital of a different Africa», from the magazine Altaïr. This special issue has more pages, which are also published in a larger format, and offers access to the magazine’s audio-visual content. An inspiring and different platform for travel culture and journalistic writing.

- Alberto Virella Gomes, Ambassador of Spain in Senegal
- Pere Ortin, editor of Altaïr Magazine
- Boubacar Boris Diop, writer, journalist and professor of African literature at the American University of Yola, Nigeria.
«Dakar. Capital of a different Africa» offers a unique viewpoint of a unique city. The viewpoint of local partners with whom Altaïr has worked for this new monograph: writers like Boubacar Boris Diop, activists like Fadel Barro and photographers such as Mamadou Gomis, who has done a signature piece for this special with his snapshots of life in the Senegalese capital.
