Noche de los Museos: Espectáculo de danza contemporánea africana
Amédé Nwatchok, a Camerounian dancer who resides in Barcelona, is the choreographer and performer of a contemporary African dance creation titled Mujer Sagrada (Sacred Woman).
Women are the central focus of this work, as they are an endless source of inspiration and also the protagonists of a new era. According to Nwatchok, "we now live in an era of women. The era of male domination has ended."
Fania Tsakalakos, a North American dancer of Greek origin, will also appear in Mujer Sagrada, a performance that Casa África will host on Saturday, May 15, at 8:30 pm in Madrid´s Museo Antropológico museum.
