IV Begira Photo Festival
Casa África collaborates with Begira Photo Festival, an international festival of contemporary photography held from 10th to 29th June 2014 in Durango, Bizkaia, this year in its fourth edition.
Promoted by Kinua Argazki Elkartea, Begira Photo Festival contributes to the dissemination and appreciation of contemporary photographic creation. This time, the pillars on which the meeting is erected are to exhibit work of young Basque writers and allow the public to get to know different photographers of Africa (Morocco) and South America (Peru).
The festival has an audience of about 3,000 people and an estimated 50,000 public (taking into account the exhibitions and interventions in the public space). This year's edition will be held from 10th to 29th June developing different activities within a programming made up from 8 exhibitions, 4 conferences, 2 presentations of photo-books, 2 sessions of photographic projections and 2 workshops, one of them for children.
