Gran concierto África Vive en Madrid protagonizado por Femi Kuti
África Vive once again focuses on African music, and for the third consecutive year, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, this concert will take place at the Ciudad Universitaria.
Casa África recommends that you not miss this free concert that is scheduled for the night of June 4th at 18:00 in the Paraninfo of the Ciudad Universitaria (Complutense), where the following performances may be enjoyed:
Femi Kuti will bring his afrobeat to Madrid, just as he did last year. In 2011, this Nigerian will shine on a night in which to discover new names of African music, such as the Senegalese pop by Takeifa, the Cape Verdean hip-hop by ExPavi, the reggae by Domu Afrika Dub Squad (these two groups won the Cape Verde Vis a Vis) and the fusion of Moroccan rhythms by Bab El Oued Sound.
