El Club de Lectura de Casa África lee "Zemi Kede"
Casa África holds a new meeting of the book club by reading Zemi Kede, by the author from Benin, Agnès Agboton. The meeting, which will be moderated by the writer and journalist Ángeles Jurado, will take place on Thursday 20th Novemberat 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium in Casa África.
Zemi kede means 'carefully', and that's how Agnes Agboton tells us to read these ten stories about desire and sex. Texts that she has collected from the African oral tradition to translate them in writing in this work.
Those interested in taking part in Casa África's Reading Club should send an email to cultura@casafrica.es as places are limited. Once you have received confirmation to be a member of the Reading Club, you will be able to take away a copy of the work together with the guidelines for its reading.
