Conferencia Magistral: las microfinanzas en África

Casa África collaborates with the Autonomous University of Madrid in organising this conference which takes place as part of the International Master in Micro-finance for Entrepreneurship taught by that University.

This lecture on micro-finance in Africa aims to present the overview of this subject at the hands of Kenyan expert Robert Benedict Ogunde, currently director of the consultancy firm Serve It LTD.

The conference will take place on 8th January 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Autonomous University of Madrid, as is free to everyone.

Micro-finance is a tool that is expanding all over the world. It aims to promote self-employment and social and financial inclusion of disadvantaged populations. The growth in the use of micro-finance has generated a growing demand for trained and specialised professionals in the sector.

Responding to this need for high quality academic training in micro.finance, the Autonomous University of Madrid this year has taught the master that is part of the conference and is currently in its 5th year of teaching it.
