Concierto África Vive en Madrid protagonizado por Alpha Blondy

Casa África, through its initiative Africa Vive, which was created to commemorate Africa Day (25th May), is once again supporting African music and again takes the music of the neighbouring continent to the Spanish capital in order to continue promoting the vast culture of these lands among a public that increasingly demands its presence.

The concert will take place on the evening of 24th May 2013 from 8 p.m. at Sala La Riviera (Madrid), and in it we will enjoy the music of Alpha Blondy, who is touring Europe promoting his new album, together with more African groups who will continue giving information about on this same link as they are confirmed.

Alpha Blondy is considered by many as the biggest star of African reggae of all time. This Ivory Coast artist, who had not returned to Madrid since his participation in the Africa Live concert 2010, will be accompanied by his usual band, The Solar System, featuring among others themes from his new album, Mystic Power, acclaimed by critics and audiences. After three years without performing in Madrid, this performance by Alpha Blondy Live at Africa 2013 cannot be missed by lovers of reggae and African culture.
