Cine África, Segunda Muestra de Cine Africano con La Diputación de A Coruña

The A Coruña Regional Government has organised Cine África for the second consecutive year. The African film season and round tables will take place from the 3rd to the 6th of November in the Caixa Galicia Foundation´s headquarters (C/. Cantón Grande, A Coruña).  It has been organised in collaboration with Casa África and the Cinenómada programme.

The programme for Cine África in A Coruña is the following:

Wednesday, November 3

• 11:00 pm Press conference

• It will take place at the headquarters of the A Coruña Regional Government (C/. Alférez Provisional, 2), and it will be attended by the President of the A Coruña Regional Government, Mr. Salvador Fernández Moreda; the General Director of Casa África, Mr. Ricardo Martínez Vázquez; and the Commissioner of Cine África 2010, Mr. Xosé Cuns

Thursday, November 4

• 8:00 pm Film season inauguration

• 8:15 pm Le rêve de Tiya (Fiction short film)
     L'Absence (Fiction feature film)

Friday, November 5

• 8:00 pm Made in Mauritus (Short film)
     Imani (Fiction feature film)

• 9:30 pm Cinema Forum with Azul Muñoz Leira, a specialist in conflict resolution, peace processes and reintegration of vulnerable groups, and Carlos Roma, presenter and expert of audiovisual media, television, film, radio and theatre.

Saturday, November 6.

• 7:30 pm Hospedades da noite (Documentary)

• 8:30 pm Presentation: Guest Director: Malam Saguirou (Niger). La robe du temps (Documentary)

• 9:30 pm Dialogue with the director

The showings will take place at the Caixa Galicia Foundation´s headquarters, Calle Cantón Grande, A Coruña, and admission is free until the maximum capacity is reached.
