Territorio África en el LPA FEST Ciudad de las Músicas

The Town Council of Las Palmas organises the City of Music Festival  (CDM) with which it celebrates the first anniversary of CreActiva, a meeting, participation, creation and exhibition space that includes concerts, street art, talks, dance, and other disciplines in order for citizens to become authors and recipients of culture.

CDM was created with a staging of the music made in the Canary Islands in its various forms, completing the programme with a series of national and international artists.

The City of Music Festival, which takes place from 21st to 29th November 2014 at various venues in the city, was created with the aim of concentrating all the musical activity generated by the city every day of the year into a project.

Casa África collaborates with the capital's council as part of the activities that both institutions jointly develop throughout the year, contributing to this meeting by holding Territory Africa, which will take place on Saturday 22nd from 11 a.m. to 2 pm and will feature different activities, among which are those by Rasta Glolver, Más que son, Los Hermanos Thioune or Yone Rodríguez, the timplar player from the Canary Islands, who will provide African notes from his "Camellito sonoro".
