Ritmos africanos en 'Fuerteventura en Música' con África Vive

África Vive will participate in the seventh edition of the Fuerteventura en Música festival (July 2 and 3) by supporting African groups that are present in the event which will take place, as in previous editions, at Concha Beach, in El Cotillo (La Oliva).

This year, there are scheduled performances on Saturday, July 3, by Konono nº1, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo; the Senegalese hip hop artist Daara J. Family; and Tony Allen´s Nigerian afrobeat.

Additionally, DJ Maga Bo will musically introduce the groups of each performance on Friday, July 2, displaying his speciality: African rhythms. This Brazilian DJ collects and studies African dance music and has participated in numerous World Music Festivals throughout Africa and Europe.

The Fuerteventura en Música festival is an event promoted by the Fuerteventura Council with the participation of other entities and institutions such as the Canary Islands Government, Casa África, La Caja de Canarias and Unelco-Endesa.
