Aïda Colmenero en el Duo Solo Danse
Casa Africa and its Africa on the Move programme supports, among other things, the presence of Spanish dancers in important African festivals like this, the Duo Solo Danse.
Duo Solo Danse is held from 11th to 14th June in Saint-Louis, Senegal, and in 2014 is in its seventh edition. This is an annual festival of contemporary dance that was created as a springboard for national and international talent.
This time Casa África's and the Spanish Embassy in Dakar support the presence at this international meeting of Aïda Colmenero, actress, model, performer, choreographer, producer and professor rewarded by the Ministry of Culture of Spain and the AECID (Spanish Agency for Cooperation and Development).
It is the second year that the Spanish artist takes part in this festival, considered the most important for contemporary dance of Senegal and directed by Alioune Diagne. This year, Aïda will be here, only dancing Prelude, created by choreographer Paloma Sanchez.
