Escritor, traductor, hispanista y periodista egipcio. Licenciado en Filología y letras hispánicas, Facultad de lenguas y traducción, Universidad de Al Azhar, El Cairo.
Titulado de máster en estudios árabes e islámicos contemporáneos, obtuvo un TFM titulado: 'Lo irreal y experimental en la nueva novela egipcia y la luz nueva española y sus vínculos con Borges'. Se doctoró en estudios hispánicos en la misma universidad una tesis titulada: 'La obra narrativa de Juan Josè Millás, contextos sociopolíticos y elementos estèticos'. Su primera novela, 'El fabricante de llaves', fue publicada en 2010 y ganó el Premio Nacional de novela en 2011.

Graduated in arabic and islamic contemporary studies masters, he obtained a final degree dissertation called 'The unreal and experimental in the new Egyptian novel and the new Spanish light and its links with Borges'. He got a doctorate in hispanic studies in the same university with a tesis called 'The narrative work of Juan José Millás, sociopolitical contexts and aesthetic elements'. His first novel 'The Key Maker' , was published in 2010 and it won the National prize of novel in 2011.
