Musiques et danses du Congo : kivu, uele

Between 1955 and 1970, teh Belgian film -maker Marcel Thonnon went on several missions to central Africa, particulary to the former Belgian Congo and former Zaire. During his expeditions he had many opportunities to record the song, music and dance of tribes living far from the country's towns and cities, including the Azande, the Mangbetu and the Bambuti Pygmies, all of whitch are to be heard on the recording he presents here
