Katondi Kama formed Bana Kin, comprised of artists from the Democratic Republic of Congo, in 1991 with the aim of contributing to the preservation of the traditional music of Central Africa. The group's talent and skill are truly in evidence on this recording, which is forceful and full of excitement.
