This morning in Casa África Michael M. Koroma, the director of the hospital of the Order of San Juan de Dios in Lunsar (Sierra Leone), gave thanks for the six containers of aid that donors from Gran Canaria sent to the African country to contribute to the management of the ebola crisis.

In addition to thanking the Canary Islands’ donors for their help, Koroma highlighted that Ebola has improved the health service of Sierra Leon, raised people’s awareness of good hygiene and treatment of waste, and made the health sector aware of the need for continuous training and the correct use of electricity and water.
